               Maintaining family emergency preparedness

                            Adult Grab 'n Go Bag

      Emergency phone list with several quarters
      Light stick & flashlight with extra bulb & batteries
      Blankets & plastic ground cloth
      Books, crossword puzzles, writing paper, playing cards
         pens & pencils
      Bottled water for 24 hours
      Favorite snacks
      One change of clothing including a jacket & hat
      Sturdy shoes
      Whistle
      Sunscreen
      Toothbrush & toothpaste
      Hair brush and supplies
      Prescription drugs
      Eyeglasses and sunglasses
      Proper identification
      Battery operated radio with extra batteries
      Ziplock bags
      Kleenex &/or toilet paper
      Small first aid kit
      Gloves
      Spare keys
      Watch or clock (battery or spring wound)
      Money
      Feminine supplies
      Knife
      Food, water & medicine for pets (include a chain or
      have box for cats)
      Anything else which you think would be helpful for
      the first 24 hours
                            At-Work Survival Kit

      Many of us stand a 25% chance of being at work when an
      earthquake strikes. A mini-survival kit could make the
      hours till you are able to get home more
      comfortable and safe.

   Battery-operated radio w/ extra batteries
   Blanket
   Ziplock bags
   Book & playing cards
   Critical medication
   Extra clothing & shoes
   Lightstick & flashlight
   Quarters for telephone
